Geschickt One Drop 2022

One Drop is a new cuvée from Domaine Geschickt, made with grapes grown by their friend Sandrine, who is in the process of organic certification. Harvested by the Geschickt team, the fruit was sourced from ten small plots around the village.

The wine is a blend of two parts: one vat of Chasselas, Muscat d’Alsace, and Gewurztraminer that macerated for two weeks; and a second vat of Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Gewurztraminer that was direct-pressed a week later. Combined before bottling, the wine shows both aromatic lift and textural depth.

Bottled in spring with 6 g/L residual sugar and no added sulphites, One Drop is lightly off-dry, fragrant, and refreshing. A proportion of the profit supports a charity in Mali, making it a wine that gives back as well as delights.
