Refund policy

Return and Refund Policy

At Amor Fati Wines, we want every bottle you receive to be enjoyed with confidence. This policy explains what happens if your order is damaged, faulty, incorrect or not as described.

Change-of-mind returns

Because wine is a perishable product, we do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind, personal taste preferences, or wine that is no longer wanted.

This does not affect any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If an item arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at hello@amorfatiwines.com.au.

Please provide:

  • Your name and order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the bottle, label, packaging and any visible damage, where possible

Please retain the affected product and its packaging until we have assessed the issue and advised whether it needs to be returned.

Once we have reviewed your claim, we will provide an appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, this may include a replacement or refund.

Return costs

If we ask you to return an item because it is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, Amor Fati Wines will cover the reasonable return costs and provide return instructions.

Please do not return an item without contacting us first.

Refunds

When a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method.

We aim to process approved refunds promptly. After a refund has been processed, it may take approximately 5–10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Original delivery charges will be refunded where required by the Australian Consumer Law. Additional delivery charges resulting from a delivery option chosen by the customer may not be refundable unless required by law.

Wine storage and temperature

Amor Fati Wines stores its wines in controlled conditions at a stable temperature of approximately 14°C, suitable for the proper storage and preservation of wine.

After an order has been delivered, customers are responsible for storing and handling the wine appropriately.

Wine may be affected by excessive heat, significant temperature fluctuations or unsuitable storage conditions after delivery. Deterioration caused by storage or handling conditions outside our control is not considered a product fault.

Nothing in this section excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law, including where a product was faulty or not of acceptable quality at the time of delivery.

Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
