Orders and delivery
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to eligible addresses within Australia only. We do not ship internationally. Some remote, restricted or legally ineligible addresses may not be available.
How long does delivery take?
- Metro areas in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland: 2–5 business days
- Regional areas: 3–7 business days
- Remote locations: up to 10 business days
These are estimates after dispatch, not guaranteed delivery dates. Carrier delays, extreme weather and public holidays may affect delivery.
How much does shipping cost?
- Standard shipping: $10
- Express shipping: $20
Local delivery near Shepparton is calculated at checkout. Available options and the final cost are shown before payment.
Do you offer local delivery?
Yes, to eligible addresses within approximately 30 kilometres of Shepparton, Victoria. It is generally available Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, excluding public holidays, Good Friday and Christmas Day.
Is there a minimum order?
No, we do not currently require a minimum order.
How are orders packaged?
We use protective wine-shipping boxes. During extreme weather, we may delay dispatch, adjust the shipping method or use additional protective packaging.
Can my order be left unattended?
An adult aged 18 or over must generally be available. Authority to leave may be accepted after age verification where lawful and secure. We will not leave alcohol where it could be accessed by a person under 18.

Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
Available methods are displayed at checkout and may include major credit cards, PayPal and Shop Pay.
Are prices in Australian dollars?
Yes. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.
Are there additional fees?
Shipping is shown before payment. Promotions or free-delivery thresholds may occasionally apply under their stated terms.
Age and liquor licensing
Do I need to be 18 or older to order?
Yes. You must be at least 18 to purchase or receive alcohol. Proof of age may be required. Delivery may be refused if identification cannot be provided, the recipient appears intoxicated, or we reasonably believe alcohol may be supplied to a person under 18.

About natural wine
What is natural wine?
Natural wine generally refers to wine made with minimal intervention. Depending on the producer, this may include organically or biodynamically farmed grapes, spontaneous fermentation, minimal additions and little or no filtration. There is no single regulated definition in Australia, so we provide specific details on each product page.
Why can natural wine cost more?
Many natural wines are produced on a small scale using labour-intensive farming and winemaking. Price may reflect hand harvesting, lower yields, limited production, the producer, region, vintage, import costs and careful storage.
How do you select producers?
We select for quality, character and sense of place. We value thoughtful farming, low-intervention winemaking and transparent production. Organic or biodynamic certification is stated only when verified.
Are sediment and cloudiness normal?
They can be. Many low-intervention wines are unfined or unfiltered. Sediment or cloudiness does not necessarily mean a wine is faulty. Genuine faults are assessed under our Return and Refund Policy.
Can natural wine vary between bottles or vintages?
Yes. Vintage conditions and small-scale production can create natural variation. This does not affect your rights if a wine is faulty, damaged or materially different from its description.
Storing and serving wine
How should I store unopened wine?
Store it in a cool, dark place with a stable temperature. A wine fridge or cellar at approximately 12–16°C is ideal. Otherwise, use a dark cupboard away from sunlight, vibration and heat.
How long does an opened bottle last?
Most opened natural wines are best consumed within 1–3 days when resealed and refrigerated. Some styles may last longer.
What is the best serving temperature?
- Sparkling and pét-nat: 6–8°C
- White, rosé and skin-contact wine: 8–12°C
- Light-bodied red wine: 12–14°C
- Fuller-bodied red wine: 15–18°C
Can I cellar natural wine?
Some wines are best young, while others develop with careful cellaring. Contact us for advice about a particular bottle.
Damaged, faulty or incorrect orders
What if a bottle arrives damaged?
Contact hello@amorfatiwines.com.au as soon as reasonably possible. Include your order number, a description and photographs where possible. Retain the product and packaging until we provide instructions.
What if I receive the wrong wine?
Email us with your order number and details. If we sent the wrong product, we’ll arrange an appropriate remedy and cover reasonable return costs where required.
Do you accept change-of-mind returns?
No. We do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind or personal taste. This does not affect your Australian Consumer Law rights.
Do you provide refunds or replacements?
Where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, an appropriate remedy may include a replacement or refund. Read our Return and Refund Policy.
Wine gifts and the Wine Diary
Can I send wine as a gift?
Yes, if it is sent to an eligible Australian address and an adult aged 18 or over can lawfully receive it. Available gift-message options are shown during ordering or checkout.
What is the Amor Fati Wine Diary?
It is designed for recording bottles, labels, tasting notes and memories. Availability and details are shown in the store.
