Natural Chenin Blanc, Loire Valley
Le P’tit Ch’nin is a relatively new cuvée from Domaine de la Garrelière, made from younger Chenin Blanc vines between 5 and 10 years old. The estate has been farmed biodynamically since 1993, producing healthy vines and healthy yeasts that make fermentation a natural and seamless process.
The grapes are slowly pressed to draw gentle texture from the skins, then fermented with native yeasts over two weeks. The wine rests for six months in old 500L barrels before bottling, with no unnecessary intervention.
The result is a lively and versatile Chenin Blanc — fresh orchard fruit, citrus brightness, and subtle texture that makes it perfect at the table. Honest, joyful, and uplifting, it’s a Loire Chenin that shows both character and charm.
