Tasting Story
'Vairon' marks a bold new chapter for the historic Dirler-Cadé estate. By taking traditional Alsatian varieties—Muscat and Gewürztraminer—and giving them significant skin contact, they have created a wine of incredible "living" energy.
High-toned notes of rose petal and garden mint are grounded by a savoury, saline mineral core. The 2021 vintage avoids the heavy "oiliness" sometimes found in these varieties, instead delivering a bone-dry, textural experience with a snappy, refreshing finish.
Serving Tip Serve at 10–12°C. We recommend decanting for 20 minutes to allow the aromatic layers to unfurl and the fine tannins to soften.
