For the 'Melon B'—the historic grape behind Muscadet—they source fruit from 40 to 80-year-old vines planted on a patchwork of schist and gneiss soils. These ancient vines are hand-harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts, then aged for six to eight months on fine lees to build a generous, textural weight that balances the wine's natural "electric" pulse.
The result is a spectacularly pure and vibrant Muscadet that expressions the hallmark freshness of the Loire Valley, delivering textural notes of fresh quince and white peach pinned together by a distinct mineral-driven acidity.
