The 2020 'Wineck-Schlossberg' is a profound and unconventional expression of Riesling. Sourced from the steep, granitic, and solar slopes of the Wineck-Schlossberg Grand Cru, this is a maceration wine. Unlike standard Rieslings, this wine underwent skin contact, resulting in an "Orange" style that captures the deep identity of the terroir. It is a raw, living wine bottled without filtration.
The Producer
Domaine Geschickt, managed by Aurélie and Arnaud, has been a pioneer in biodynamics, with their vines farmed this way since 1998. Based in Ammerschwihr, they focus on "natural" vinification to empower the full expression of their granitic soils.
